Hello there everyone. I am currently working on a rather large project, a building known as "The Shard" from the game "Mirrors Edge."

So far it is in the planning/mining stage. Features I would like to include are a scenic elevator ride, and other stuff I forgot.
Suggestions are welcome. I don't know what materials I'm going to use yet, so that would be a good place to start. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Ooook. Let me know the area your working with for the elevator. The one I was refering to ingame is a 2x1 lift with hidden wireing designed to squeeze the wireing into the 8x wall area remaining on the farm. I had the benifit of virtualy unlimited room back from that 8x wall (pincered into that 8x width for about 20 blocks though). I'd have made the lift 2x2 but it would take me outside my limit and also may have been impossable to completely hide the wireing. I'm guessing a 1x1 lift would be ALOT more simple in all aspects and wouldnt take up all that much room relitive to the other lifts... what I refer to as "not much room" may be more then you expect if you dont understand the wireing...
Once we get the update going I can give you a good idea. Or I can send you the test world... It has a massive lift someone made in a crappy way (still effective, just poor wireing methods and improper controls... modular with schematics though) AND my prototype wireing system in its infant state.

This building will be quite large and have lots of margin for error, also we can put as much stuff as needed underground. On important part is that we can leave on side open for viewing the city from the elevator.
