---===SSD Time===---

I ordered 2 SSD's for the server (OCZ Vertex 2 SSD 2.5" 60GB )
I will run this in RAID 0 and run the server backups to the older 80 GB disk.

This should improve server speed dramatically, and after moving to my new house with the 10Mbit upload it will go even faster =D.

When the drives arrive (tomorrow or the day after) i will copy the server to my main pc while performing the upgrade (building in the SSD's and reinstalling windows 7).

I know this is my own choice and toy but i appreciate any donations to help me recover from this investment :)
(remember you can find the donation button on http://www.maxloader.nl/ in the left frame)

Code: Select all

Status: Temporarily running on my main pc, no backups will be made while its running here. (ps: my main pc already has raid 0 ssd's so it whould be running epix already)
Status: All back to normal, except running faster :)

The static (normal) map is fixed.
The only thing is that somehow the map still generates 1 random chunk somewhere far away, causing the map to be huge.
