Someone's been lighting forest fires, I put one out yesterday morning in the south East of the map (when you look at the map, not in game) and Sooneey and XWinter also had to put out a fire someone started last night

I would like to remind the people who did this:

Use of the fire tool:
You can use the firetool when you crafted it, however do not cause forest fires.
You can burn a single tree but be sure it does not stand near to another flammable block.
Do not burn buildings (or other big things) on purpose (for the sake of lag issues)

If it was an accident, please report it in-world to other players a.s.a.p and report it on the forum.
There will be no consequences if it was an accident.

In case people aren't sure, a safe distance is 3 blocks clearance between flammable objects

When this continues, can you disable the fire tool, like you did with TNT?

Well, it's knida a big treat if it happens near treetown.

i'm afraid that this wasn't a total accident.
There was some minor griefing on my Road some days ago, and Chappies Underwater base got griefed to. I suspect it's the same person who was lit the forests.

Was more than a firestarter, I planted those trees in order to hide my secret lair and someone mange to find it and steal some of my items! Also my secret treehouse was burnt away too, but that took 5 minutes to make, so I don't care.

ANYWAYS, in the end alot got destroyed so it doesn't look like an accident.

Prime suspects are everyone logged on between 21:45-22:15 GMT+0 03/10/2010.

I will conduct an inventory check of these people now, from the time it happened.

None of the above players have a suspicious inventory, so it might have been an accident after all.
Think about a flame-torch or a fireplace that jumped a fire over to something else.

What do you see as a suspicious inventory then?

People that used inventory hacks for example.
